SEDIMENTS is a serie of collages of fragments of paintings, mostly on paper and cardboard. A heterogeneous and heteromorphic material created at different times, in very different conditions and moods. Like the growth rings of a tree, these fragments in a sort of montage are put together and “deposited” in new forms and contents.
The single collage elements are often arranged one on top of the other, creating a slight three-dimensional effect.
